The expose' involving the fudging of climate data by
those alleging global warming results mainly from
burning fossil fuels to support thier contention is no
surprise. I also heard Al Gore has a new book on climate
change which contains fudged satelite photos for the
same purpose. Over 31,700 knowledgeable
scientists,including me,do not agree with those people.
My credentials, along with being a Geological Engineer
for 58 years,include being Chief of the Special Programs
Unit at McClellan AFB in 1977, involved with Missile and
Space programs, and Satellite Communications Systems,
part of the Defense Meteorological Satellite Program. I
know how to read the data. and it seems that Al Gore
doesn’t. |

I am all for environmental responsibility but this has
gotten out of control. The catalytic converter for my
vehicle went for $300.00 1 year ago to $2600.00 now. WHY
is it so expensive? Give me a break! I feel like these
laws pass in order to pad the pockets of people, not to
help the environment. When calling around to obtain a
new catalytic converter at a cheaper price, every one I
found was rated for 49 states. When the sellers found
out I was from California, they told me they couldn't
talk to me and hung up on me. Give me ONE good reason a
$300.00 part should now be $2600.00 dollars. |
